No reason to raise the bid when there is no one else competing for shares.

If another MM jumps ahead of NITE in bid, then maybe it will get up to .35.

Could be a different trader using NITE

Those buy and sell orders could represent two different parties who just happen to have their orders routed through NITE.

Whoever placed that order to sell 8,302 is trying to undercut the order to sell 5,500 @ $0.3677 that was placed through E-Trade's order routing system.

They could be shorting, or just someone who bought lower who is trying to lock in a profit.
