About ANTs Software

The mission of ANTs Software is to help customers drive down IT operating costs by consolidating hardware and software infrastructure and eliminating cost inefficiencies. To this end, ANTs develops and sells the ANTs Compatibility Server (ACS), an innovative middleware solution that accelerates database consolidation between database vendors, enabling application portability.

In addition to ACS, ANTs offers a complete portfolio of services ranging from architecting or managing IT infrastructure, to full application performance tuning and administrative services.

Why Ants and why now? ANTS currently:
PPS started it's decline at the beginning of the new year (SEE Chart below). That is addressed here:

Looks like the company has since resolved some of the coding issues and now has a product ready to go. Not only that, but looks like October helped them to realize their first significant contract win: http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=49659122

Anyone seriously considering a position here should listen to this recording about the company and it's future prospects from last year's shareholder meeting: www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/ants. There's some good stuff there... The item catching my attention: Future goal--->To become a Nasdaq listed company. They have already approached Nasdaq about exploring this issue and the listing requirements as per that recording.

The company also reports looking forward to a 'global roll-out' of their product. If they pull this off an gain traction, this one very well could be that ever-elusive 'game changer'. Do not lose sight of the significance of being an EOM for an IBM product. They are 'in the box'.
