I think he is as up front as can be. Do you think Steve jobs hinted at the iPhone before it came to market. No way. Kim gives us as little as he is required to. Wonder why? Because its a teeny little company right now and he knows there are people watching and scheming, emphasis on the scheming.
You appear to be addressing my quote yet what you are commenting on has nothing to do with the quote..
Kim said he was approached by a number of businesses regarding monster silk...and he has signed nda's and ca's with a " number of them"...he said he's talking to more companies then he needs or wants...
I was simply taking him at his word...but you could be right..that's not a good thing to do with Kim...
He claims to be looking for just the right fit..doesn't want to do a deal with just any old billion dollar company...really???
Well if that's the case and your product is all that, why doesn't Kim find a company that he wants to do business with and do it that way..instead of handing his business card at a trade show...
He desperately needs a salesman / marketing person who knows the industry...he's try to reinvent the wheel without having any skills to do so...he's wasting time and money....and he's not going to get what a professional could get and could do in far less time...
