Maybe they were crooks and a "policeman of sorts" saw them as they were bringing them to the USA. HIs name was Superman. He thought the green rocks might be green kryptonite, so he dropped a big rock on the boat making it capsize and the emeralds sank to the bottom. then Superman swooped in and nabbed the crooks and their boat and flew them to prison.

Just as likely as some of the hoped for stories around here. HA!

And a note to the board in genearal. They have a 5% STAKE, not a 5% STEAK. They are emeralds, not a piece of meat!
