Echarter

Hmmm..
.4 grams/ton huh!? Well lets beat up the numbers as you suggest...

800 m x 600m x 1000m = 480,000,000 cubic meters of ore
(x 2.4 ton/m)= 960,000,000 tons
(x .4 g/ton) =384,000,000 grams
(divide by 31.1 to get troy ozs)=12,347,267 ozs gold

(x90.9% recovery)=
**************************************************************
11,223,666 "potential" ozs of recoverable gold
**************************************************************

I'd gladly choke on over 11 million ozs of gold...Also keep in mind that this figure includes just the identified IP anomoly...Not only that, we include no copper or silver either.
Thoughts??

OEO, do you still have a copy of the document that highlights the world largest gold mines in a format that will display properly on this site...I have a copy, but it doesn't come out that readable...Looks like a ton of big mines out there with less than .4 g/ton....Cheers.
