You miss the point. Yes, the CSRV eliminates a buch of parts and has all the engineering advantages George talks about. Point accepted. What the CSRV CAN'T do, and what no rotary valve system has ever done, is to provide a "DURABLE" sealing mechanism for the valve. The idea for a sherical rotating valve, as I've said ad nauseum, is over a hundred years old. Coates didn't come up with it. George has advanced and refined the idea more than anyone but it still doesn't work. Why do you think George has never let a CSRV engine be independantly tested for reliability? Why doesn't George just take a one cylinder CSRV engine and connect it to a natural gas supply and run the thing for a couple of months? Why do you think nothing has happened for twenty-five years? IT DOESN'T WORK.
