HRDN contract trip to Illinois in today's pr.

Here is a list of the biggest supermarket chains. ALDI has 1,400 stores and I believe has a HQ located in Illinios....hmmm

1. Aldi 1,400 stores
2. Costco Wholesale 465 stores
3. Delhaize Group 1,300 stores under the Bloom, Bottom Dollar Food, Food Lion, Hannaford, Harveys, and Sweetbay Supermarket labels
4. Kroger 2,460 stores. Besides the parent company, stores operate under the Baker's, City Market, Dillons, Food 4 Less, Foods Co., Fred Meyer (technically a hypermarket), Fry's Food and Drug, Gerbes, JayC Food Stores, King Soopers, Owen's Market, Pay Less Food Markets, Quality Food Centers, Ralphs, Scott's Food & Pharmacy, and Smith's Food and Drug names.
5. Safeway Inc. 1,458 stores. Besides the parent company, some stores are operated under these banners: Carrs, Dominick's, Genuardi's, Pavilions, Randalls, Tom Thumb, and Vons.
6. Sam's Club 600 stores
7. Kmart Supercenters 26 stores
SuperValu Inc. 2,398 stores. The Save-A-Lot name is its most common name; other banners are Acme Markets, Albertsons, Cub Foods, Farm Fresh Food & Pharmacy, Hornbacher's, Jewel-Osco, Lucky, Shaw's, Shop 'n Save, Shoppers Food & Pharmacy, and Star Market.
