Well in Greece they stuck it to the private investors. So the private investors have "fled" the market. The ECB rolled out their LTRO facility so banks could buy Sovereign Debt. No private investor in their right mind would buy that crap. So the banks hold paper that will never be redeemed.

So yeah the European population will end up paying the price, as it should be.
