your correct once the r/s takes place the stock will shoot up for a short time then collapse as all the day traders and wise shareholders dump and the new investors see the price shoot up and buy and take massive losses is generally what happens... as far as all the different names typically a company does that when their defrauding creditors and playing with the books.
