Thanks for repeating your cut 'n paste, but it bears little resemblance to the points I made, nor does your "reference" mention JBI.
Everyone knows that oil can be made by pyrolysising plastic. The economics of it are another matter, and one that JBI appears to be losing in a breathtaking (and money taking) manner.
As a reference example, read what they said about New York.
Since 2008, the Plastic Advanced Recycling Corp. has had two systems in place at paper mills and the company claims the systems have been a success. The mills avoid landfill fees, and the mixed-plastic product is a valuable resource. The company hopes to replicate this success in the U.S. in the next two years."
