absolutely, but I've still made gains on the ones that were only 1 for 10 or even 1 for 100. so if the share structure isn't totally out of the park, it can still work out well many times. 1 for 1000 is almost a guaranteed wipeout, though I think I did well even once or twice on one of those, but that's once in a blue moon, if that.
