I read a lot of internet letters and was scared by the prospect of another Euro meltdown. Precious metals haven't performed that well during crisis periods.
I also read a guy named Larry Edelson. He was predicting a big swoon in silver/gold. Never happened but they have definitely not soared either.
So, bottom line, I was worried about dollar strength, given my view of Euro problems and the impact that would have on commodities.
What I didn't expect was the risk off going risk offier!
That appears to be main culprit. Investors are running away from miners because they classify them as risky, even if they are producing, profitable and cheap!
So I was right for the wrong reasons but it doesn't feel that good because my remaining stocks ain't killing it either.
MMT.v/mauxf.pk has been frustrating but I remain long and am waiting for the big news that is always just around the corner.
