DARBES, not at all directed at you, but I´m tired of AMD "being close" to this deal or that with nothing ever happening.

The best that I can say is that it's a nice start. I priced one
out and it was $1500 which is not too bad for something in this
class at 2.0 Ghz with 1 GB (1 slot) of RAM.

The dealbreaker for me was not having its own video memory.
AMD now has one model in HP's small business lineup and that's
in Thin and Light. In DTR and Ultraportable, AMD has no models.

BTW, HP does have an WUXGA 15.4 inch in Small Business but it's
a Pentium M. They have a 17 inch (WSXGA, I think) but it's in a
Pentium 4. What businessperson is going to run through an airport
with a 17 inch Pentium 4 notebook? A Turion or Pentium M I can
see but not a Pentium 4.
