Thanks Charly. Good to hear the landowners are satisfied with the rent, it allows SGCP to expand the operations in a way they prefer it. It's not a dissappointment the carbon market is out of sight as we can focus on the timber unlike before when the deal was a +/- 50/50 share for the carbon credits and the timber (value) was for the local people. By cutting the GGVF out of the project we are better off sharing the timber value with the local people. The estimated timber value SL1 far exceeded the value of the estimated carbon credits in 2009. It's not easy to have an oversea call with John so I have to do it by e-mail but he rarely responds.

"Lots of talk about the JV and the bad, nasty, poison circulating in response to it. This deal doesn’t cost SGCP a dime and we stand to gain half a million dollars from it. So bashers, give it a rest."

Of course John is going to push that, he's getting more money from it.
