To help control piracy, Sony BMG has begun releasing CDs that limit the number of times they can be copied. About 60 percent of its CDs released in the United States have copy protection software, and that should become 100 percent by the end of this year or early 2006, Hesse said.
I already posted an article with link five days after that interview in which Hesse states March 2006!
The article you quote actually puts Sunncomm in a much sadder light IMO. If as the article states "about 60% of its cd's released in the US have copy protection" then it looks like Sunncomm with 7 million cd's pressed for the second qtr is not doing most of the copy protection. As I suspected it looks like First 4 Internet and others are getting the lions share of the business!
