well supposedly Frank has enough funding until 2008...and the shares being traded now are between investors like us...QTN in their programs show no signs of struggling financially, in fact, just the opposite. They are growing their programs, personnel and physical assets...
There are national gay folks speaking for this network right now. We see Barney Frank and Cheryl Jacques from Massachusetts, Candace Gingrich.... and Chris ? from Log Cabin Republicans, we have Honey Labrador and her Siren Multimedia company expressing support for QTN/Frank Olsen (in addition to her role with QTN)....Ru Paul is a picture/speaker for QTN in the commercials in between the programs....they have the ability to reach the national gay businesses for interviews...Cary Harrison is a QTN supporter...Joe Beachley just joined them for Flesh & Threads...
So their access to the gay community grows monthly....and with funding in place they may be considered a developing company showing stable growth at this stage of their development...
While your idea is good I suspect Frank is going to continue moving this in the public arena for funding and gearing the programs toward the gay community, although some of those programs can be shown anywhere...
But let me say this to your post....John Cameron Mitchell film production was 'supposedly' private funding. Why not a group of gay folks get together and 'fund' some interesting films...now that would be an interesting approach to Frank Olsen from a group from the GLBT community....
