I gotta admit I was VERY surprised to see a large increase from the commericials as opposed to a reduction of some kind.
.....still long put my finger will be on the trigger Monday just in case.

What you might also find to be surprising, if not somewhat alarming, is that in the first two days after today's CoT report closed (8-16), the total open interest dropped only 371 contracts (331,633 vs 331,262) while the PoG lost almost $7/oz.

Historically, whenever the OI peaks, it is always the longs doing the blinking, which leads to more blinking and so on.....

I realize that I may be way off base here LD, but if I'm not...... look out below and get ready (read solvent) for some real bargain prices.

Because you're not stubborn, I know you'll do well no matter what the future holds.....

P.S. Boy, those guys at SI are really tough on us newbies. <g>

Needless to say, I'm hoping for the final laugh.
