I’ll take the hit on this one. I think that needlessly sending duplicate emails asking basically the same questions is a waste of his time. At one time we had an “unofficial email representative” but people got impatient ( a lot of which was just so they could flip the stock) and a bunch of emails ensued. If history repeats itself (and it always does) within 2 weeks of any posted news, some will be asking for more news.
Besides it’s just being Jim’s nature, he’s also gun-shy about issuing any news. So far as I remember, the only time in the past couple of years that AFTC rose rather than tanking on positive news was where it is now (from ~5 to ~10) although it dropped today on a 2K share Sell (geeee; that wasn’t manipulation!!).
If anyone is looking for a few pinkies that continuously move on news, real or manufactured, PM me I’ll be glad to give you a few that I track. If you are expecting AFTC to be one of those – it ain’t.
If I sound annoyed – I am! With a little cooperation, we could get updates weekly and not have to send a bunch of repetitive emails. Unfortunately, if we did have an “unofficial emailer” again, s/he would get trampled on by a few who would pester either the messenger, or Jim and we would be right back where we started.
