LOCH/CDEX has a long history of FALSELY promoting concept products that they don't have or that don't perform as advertsied.

Starting with the palace locks or whatever they were, the incredible edible cotton seeds, the high-tech-bred tuli cattle, the sun- and moon-powered water pumps, then (ta da) the cute little Mr. Elf (tm Dr. Zovko) -- timing was perfect there, with Princess Diana's internationally publicized concern -- and vammp with that fantastic NDA with whatever that company was and then allllll the "patented"? versions of contaminated drug detectors with allllllllllll those hospitals just chomping at the bit to get them, and from there branching out into law enforcement for illicit drug detection ... wow, there's just been no end to the inventive genius of the loch/cdex engineers and scientists. Plus RIGGED trade shows starting (to my knowledge) with SPIE back in 2000 I think where no one was permitted too close to the tinfoil exhibit -- bouncers at hand to make sure of that.

I'm sure I've overlooked a few of their "products" that for some reason just never took off.

And all this allegedly generated from a permanently locked storage garage, as I remember, next to a diner out in the middle of nowhere til they graduated to more "suitable" addresses. But then they got really brave and held another "live" demo on the Capitol steps! Alas, airplane interference or something created a reading problem there, though. And in any case it wasn't anywhere near as successful as the spontaneous one in Croatia. Pity the TV station that went to Croatia to see it as it happened didn't follow up their reporting with the story of Vlado and the price he paid at the RBI and in Croatia for participating in the scam.

Oh, I almost forgot the call-in radio program with its rigged calls! And so much other hard work that got the scam rolling again and again.

I really do hope someone writes the book about this lonnnnnnng saga. Naming names. Just think, tommyboy can then say he's had two books written about him!
