Short volume data can be manipulated and I have communicated with the TA, that's why I say "if" that's the case then someone's lying. Hey I am still holding out that this thing runs hard, I missed the CBI$ run because I sold for a very little profit, I don't want to make the same mistake twice.

Question. How can shortvolume.com possibly assess any stocks short volume on any given day? Do they track shares that are borrowed through margin accounts via brokers and then sold for the sake of shorting by retail investors (which, to the best of my knowledge, pennies aren't available for shorting by most, if not all, brokers, due to their volatility)? Are these shares then subsequently tracked when they are bought back by said shorter to give back to the lender, assumably at a lower price for the sake of creating a profit? God only knows what the MMs' have up their sleeve as to what they can get away with, naked shorting notwithstanding. It seems a lot of folks on these boards accept sv.coms' info as gospel, but I've never read, or heard, anyone question their validity as to their methods and tactics. Not to put you on the spot, just wondering what the deal is. GLTY.
