SpyderLink WAS officially notified:
(ie they weren't blindsided by this, contrary to some speculation in an iHub post.)

SpyderLink's Awareness of Asserted Patents.

17. SpyderLink has been expressly aware of at least the '048 patent no later than September 21, 2011, when NeoMedia, through its counsel, notified SpyderLink of the '048 Patent and US Patent 5,978,773 (the Parent Patent to Asserted patents) and offered SpyderLink the opportunity to license the patents.

18. Additional correspondence has taken place but SpyderLink has not agreed to take a license nor has it demonstrated why it believes a license isn't necessary.

so the question I have is this - if they are claiming that SpyderLynk is encouraging others to infringe by using/buying their platform, and having now claimed this in a lawsuit, are they in fact now beginning to notify these "others" as they did SpyderLynk back on Sept 21, 2011 that they are infringing as well?

Are SpyderLynk's clients being told they are next in line for a lawsuit by Global IP? directly?

thots?
