when this country starts to do what it planned to do back in April 2012 we will have 1,000,000 companies funded.until then the Europeans have taken up our ideas on equity crowdfunding and have launched dozens of deals. I have read no less than 15 European countries have many platforms in each country doing just this. I also see several American companies exited the pinks and stopped their private placements( rule 506 and the like) and have fled to Europe for a 1 million dollar raise without the no solicitation rule. That rule is the key to why congress stopped it here. They nor the SEC cares if the client is accredited or not. They just do not want more problems that mass unsolicited communication can bring. The before time"I told you so's" rule Washington DC now.
