It's an all or none trade. They always show up as 5k. Nothing illegal about it.

Yes, for MM's it is. But there's a retail trader amongst us that is hiding their order to make it seem as if it is only 5k. They just do it so it won't scare people off. It could be 100k shares, or it could be a million shares. Who knows. But what I do know is that they pay up the a$$ for commission lol
