RRdog, I will look for some papers that have been published on imaging trials.
I know human trials will involve demonstration of safety, distribution of the
isotope labeled antibody, kinetics of elimination from the body, etc. The process
has started with the filing of the IND for using the I-124 labeled PGN650 for imaging.
They may have to compare their imaging with another PET imaging agent, not
sure how these things work. I'll check it out. I doubt if it will happen very quickly,
but quicker than a trail seeking to prove an increase in survival. I would guess
showing that the imaging correlates with other measures, and is safe, is what is needed for success.
