Ok so what we know from the article is by the time we get 4-5 months from getting our phase III results we better have a market cap in excess of $300M. I have no problem with this rule of thumb. Quite simply put, once you get that close to ph III, there is either a BP who has bought it, partner it, or bought enough shares in the smaller company to make its market cap rise above $300M. It is kind of like some on here are saying and I agree, "why hasn't the market valued our IP more than .53 per share"? The answer is we aren't 5 months away from phase III results. If we get that far and we are still at .53 and market cap under $300M we may indeed have a placebo but we aren't there yet.
