Beamer, Jerry Sanders used to argue that a beat-up car with a rebate is still a beat-up car (or something to that effect). He was describing the Pentium 4 at the time, but it's kind of ironic now, don't you think?
The way some on this thread speak, you'd think anyone buying a Pentium 4 is getting a real piece of crap, while anyone buying an Athlon is getting a pearl. Kind of like the difference between buying a Yugo and a Ferrari.
The truth is much, much more subtle, but the way Jerry Sanders and his followers act, it's a grandiose struggle between good and evil, right and wrong.
