Of course TD does not have a problem with this type of trade as they do not wish to implicate themselves in any "shady" trading scheme. Only a fool or a manipulator would place this type of "uneconomic" trade as the commissions are too great a percentage of the price of trading. As such, one can only logically reason that manipulation is the game.

In the US, this activity would be considered an uneconomic trade. It would be assumed that this would be an attempt to manipulate the price.



That assumption would have been made by very qualified professionals. So I have to wonder why so many posters here think it is so odd that regular folk like me question such trading patterns.
