Needs no catalyst at all for a 3-bagger, just on a valuation call.
DDI hardly resembles the small company it was when it first went public. I think some are still fighting the illusion that share price equates to company value. The association of the two valuations, or rather the disassociation, is where the opportunity is.
I suspect there is at least one more manufacturer of subsea-related components that DDI has been working with besides Bornemann and I'm hoping to hear a familiar name in the conf call discussion.
I won't be able to even listen to the playback till late in the day probably and my hesitation about micro caps and conf calls is still valid. Even though I thought they did a pretty decent job last time, it's a minefield every time.
I think they have the experience and footprint size now to nail down some very profitable contracts and that's what I would like to see them do.
A little shareholder excitement would go a long way to healing the shareprice. Heck, there are OTC stocks that have no revenue, under 5 employees, with no documented experience in their field, and they generate valuations in the hundreds of millions $$ based on nothing more than a compelling business plan and some slick advertising. Most of them are only good for a trade and they fold in a few years when they can't deliver.
In spite of the top-heavy compensation and the other long-standing gripes of mine, I think DDI is past the firestorm and is back in play with some excellent upside potential. I just want them to deliver on consistent and growing profits to increase shareholder value.
