They purchased fake shares and it is their job not to do so

brokers are not at fault and can not be held responsible as all it takes is an opinion letter signed by an attorney for the TA to release those 'shares', legit or not.

i have seen it before in the case of SPNG.

DOS, unfortunately there is nothing for shareholders to recover.
