No one ever said either ever did any time in prison.
And certainly enough of their pasts was disclosed here (and clearly not all was true).
I recall a number showing both, but especially Metter, had some SEC/Business type problems before. (All just simple excusable errors by others they took the blame for I'm sure).
Some of the other (lower profile) guys had much more substantial prior history's. I believe one or two with some actual confinement type things).
I think the one who had a few issues previously INCLUDING still having a $14,000,000 (yes fourteen million!) restitution he had to pay back from a previous scam...and some restrictions on what he could be involved with business wise...if the funnier. He took whatever he could from SPNG dreamers, maintaining to the court and others he had nothing to pay previous victims with (who would have had first call on those $$ anyway). Hysterical that the delusional wackos here were somehow saying that his debt was all a good thing - because SPNG investors would get the 14M (that he wasn't paying anyway) from him instead of those he was supposed to pay.
M&M shouldn't really have to do any time for this either. I mean taking money so willingly proffered by some questionable (if even) a life form, (certainly not a sentient one if one at all) as so many SPNG banks seem to be, really shouldn't be a problem. Certainly not one requiring any real life discomfort. Heck, like their partner had to do for his last big payday - just have them promise to pay it back over time. They're good for it!
