Let me throw out an idea, though it may be a bad one, perhaps it makes sense for the company going forward. Now, first, this omits any possibility that we have an amoral narcissist running the show.
Given the quagmire of legal complications, the need to resolve the GRAFF divi and conversions, possibly recombine the companies in lieu of the 10% SDVI payoffs from an IPO that never happened, to reduce the float and ready for resurrection, to make money on the shares outstanding possibly deriving much needed financing, wouldn't doing everything you could to drop the PPS be a smart thing to do?
We all know that the business model is a complete cluster of demonic proportions and if in fact there is any morality and good business sense to arise from this mess, which might salvage the company finances and resurrect it as a public company, save something for shareholders, could this be part of the reorganization for that effort?
On top of this, Ken needs money and we do not know the full extent of his wife's financial involvement with SDVI and GRAFF. It seems to me that something was brought up on this awhile back. Take some digging, but I'm sure that it can be found. I seem to recall her getting into the financial picture.
Another option I'm thinking of at this time is an effort to totally destroy the SDVI value so as to leave a worthless shell subject to no litigated recoveries. And on top of that, if it isn't so clearly defined at the moment, make sure that GRAFF is separated totally from SDVI so as to divide any potential legal actions, thus dividing and conquering.
Last but not least, the shifting of all GRAFFITI production, marketing, manufacturing, to another split off company with no legal ties to SDVI or GRAFF and perhaps not even in Ken's name. Just another "oh what tangled webs we weave", which may or may not protect a con scam artist, if this is in fact what we have going on here. And of course we don't know yet. I mean, nice family man, wife, kids, friendly face and demeanor, a tech kind of guy! I'm sure the well known business man around the Redwood City community, church, clubs, cafes with a reputation to sustain.
It's not exactly like we have an "MO" here suggesting the worst case scenario. Could be that we get filings within the next few days and all the conspiracy theories will be out the window. But that is the problem, isn't it. No information, falling PPS, no clarification of business actions gone totally astray and perhaps hedging on the edge of illegal and SEC investigation. Really, this needs to be cleared up.
