If you are interested in acquiring claims in Quebec, you need to familiarize yourself, and register with, the Quebec government mining website. You can review current and pending claims and claim maps, as well as the regulations governing mineral exploration in the province.

However, Quebec still requires physical staking of mineral claims. A person must hold a valid prospectors license and actually stake a claim on the ground before applying for the claim from the Province. Unless you hold a valid license and wish to travel to Quebec and hike through the bush driving stakes (hiring a helicopter helps), you will have to hire someone to do it on your behalf.
