Vega Biofuels Leases 90,000 Square Foot Facility for South Georgia Bio-Coal Plant



Vega Biofuels, Inc. is in the process of building a manufacturing plant that when finished will manufacture biocoal from timber waste using unique technology called torrefaction. Torrefaction is the treatment of biomass at high temperatures (475°F - 575°F) under low oxygen conditions.

VGPR is starting to attract significant attention as they have a lot going their way at the moment:



• Vega Biofuels recently announced plans to build a green-energy manufacturing plant in Cordele, Georgia that will manufacture bio-coal from timber waste. The bio-coal will be made using special "torrefaction" technology.

• The Company has chosen Cordele, Georgia for the manufacturing plant because of the amount of viable biomass feedstock available in timber-rich South Georgia and easy access to the Cordele Inland Port that will service the Port of Savannah, one of the South's largest international shipping ports.
