unfortunately you are right, most people dont understand what the vix is, the effect of the 2x funds over the long-term and how the cotango can make them lose even if the vix goes up

Bottomless pit. Should have sold for 8 Friday.*

Just think! After I saw the bad news on Thursday night, I could have sold out on Friday morning for at least $8.21 or better. Then I could have bought back today for $6.72 or less. The After-Hours shows a gain of a few cents, to $5.93. WOW! GREEN! Since the Net Asset Value or Indicative/Intrinsic Value is still lower than the price, I could have probably bought back tomorrow for 5 dollars, 4 dollars, 3 dollars???*

I had all the information I needed to make that sell decision, but I just couldn't do it. I understand "buy low" and "sell high." What I have trouble with is "buy high, sell higher," and "sell low, buy lower."*

I can't get any more cash into my account until next week. But then, I'll be "loaded for bear." I'll be ready to buy EVEN MORE of this worthless stock, just as soon as the "smart money" (like you) sends out the buy signals.*

If I could buy at 3 and it goes to 6, then I'd be happy to sell at 6, (for just the new shares). But is that really possible?*

I don't know how you got the name "BigDummy," but I was one of those who didn't understand the "premium" thing. Obviously, you were right, and I was wrong. At least now, I understand it better than I did before.*

For what it's worth, the spread between bid and ask seems to have narrowed.*
