IMS1000 is a bactericide. It destroys things like e-coli. In most cases, stinch and odor is produced by bacteria. Theoretically, if piles of garbage, feces, or other forms of smell were to be treated with the product in spray form, the odor could be controlled. This would have enormous consequences for not only landfills, but in slaughter houses, chicken farms, etc.
