I just can't see how even with the A/S at where it stands being enough to cover that aquisition. Plus you need to consider the costs they are undertaking to get the mine back into production.

The money is coming from somewhere and I for one am certain that it's not from the D word. I expect there to be some perhaps but not the extent to where its at the detriment of shareholders.

Perhaps they found and angel investor or have arranged for the pre-sale of the copper that will come from the mine. jmo

I think that IS the million dollar question with sirg. Does it take some massive dilutive scheme to pay for everything or are they able to pre-sell the first 6 - 18 months of copper at a huge discount to get their investment to start the mine. With the share price where it is, it appears the market believes that A/S increase is going to pay for the start up of the mine. The believers on this board (including myself) are making the bet that they are able to do it without dilution as they spurned a deal last year that included lots of dilution and the board deemed it "unfriendly to shareholders". Again, if the market believed what we believe, no one could get in at the current price as the stock would probably already be in the pennies. I say buy a few shares, come aboard and see if you like it and wanna buy some more! No guarantees but if there were guarantees the stock price would likely be much higher. GLTY

Welcome aboard the SIRG board. We are waiting for the funding details and the closing of the purchase of an additional 10% of the mine. Our target dates for copper production are June at the earliest, August at the latest.

Seas were a bit rough today but Salty has us anchored for the weekend so come aboard and meet the crew.
