I'm not sure that sounds right. Although this company typically has released things AH regardless of what they are. Maybe ask smoke_em this question or anyone of the other longs

There are no rules as to when a company can release information such as 8k's, 10Q or K's or PR's. 99% of companies do release before and after markets open or close to give the news time to be digested. Now a pressing material event happening during trading hours could cause a halt to stock trading in that issue as to not cause a panic one way or the other in its shares.

ATRN IMO is so primed for news, it could jump to 50 cents due to the low A/S issued. The shorts, if any left are really playing with fire here.
