QAF is good, when they get paid against the fees they render to the State. In fact, without QAF they wouldn't be solvent. Their abnormally high Medicare/Medi-Cal patient load is a problem, as those systems don't pay costs....from their own disclosure.

If you mean the buyout by Dr. Chaudhuri and Silver Point? I think moving the hospitals to Private provides more options, including going not-for-profit for the business to avoid the taxes that strip profits. Hosptials just aren't that profitable anyway. Leasing the buildings and land back to the business is probably a better play. They already do that, in part.
