As I think I heard, their national marketing focuses on hospitals providing oncology supportive care. Here in north California, I can see a single rep touring the Bay Area and Central Valley hospitals. Another rep for southern CA. If dealing with an HMO like Kaiser or Sutter, one probably doesn't have to visit every Kaiser or Sutter facility.

I think Damaj's target was 25 reps. He also mentioned the support of 100 oncology nurses and hospital pharmacists. I am unclear on those details. However, I don't think as some have argued, that hundreds of reps are needed. Not for this strategy. I think what Damaj has outlined is doable for this narrow/specialized market.
