What I have noticed in my research is that most airlines trade between .5 and .7 annual revenue.

Stated another way: take 50% to 70% of annual revenue and divide it by the outstanding shares. In this case almost 1.8 billion shares.

IMHO:
Private placement investors going back through 20 years have a higher purchase price and probably feel they should wait and hope for the best. The concern is trying to find institutional funds that will come in to gobble up all those shares at a valuation higher than the rest of the industry? Although anything in this world is possible!

Are there any private placement investors who have been able to sell for a profit or a breakeven, if so please tell me.

I quickly used yahoo's finance page to look at other airlines.
