I concur. I use a margin account for that reason. When I transfer funds from another bank account...I don't have to wait 3 days before I can trade...I can trade right away. Also the same with selling...your "cash" for buying is available from immediate sales and you don't have to wait 3 days. There is no additional cost to use this feature...you just have to fill out additional paper work (with E-trade) and you have the account.

And as far as i'm concerned that is totally unfair, to folks that is trading nothing but cash. Seems you folks get the upper hand. And in case you don't know there is no such thing, as a margin acct., trading within a IRA, or a 401K, when i'm dealing with cash, and marging acct.s is dealing on credit so to speak. Why do they get the upper hand?
Seem's totally Frigged up to me. And is not a level playing field.

Gary, thanks I'll look into it. I had USED to be able to have funds immediately available for investment, but apparently I had bought/sold some stuff that hadn't cleared and they put me on a 90 day restriction. Only 30 days into it. In the meantime, I will have funds cleared by Wednesday at latest, and will be a SLAPPIN' DAT AZZZZZKKKKKKKKKKKK!
