Nah...it would be WRONG to present that type of sale if it wasn't charge nor shipped.

Accrual accounting method - booked when shipped

Cash basis accounting method - booked when cash hits bank account.

In your case, neither happened, so it would be WRONG to book that as a sale.

Sales are not reported on companies financial statements until they are shipped. Doesn't matter when they were recorded by the company.
