40% Drop in Silver Demand Compared to Year Ago

Nov - March this year = only 10 million ounces sold

Nov - March last year = nearly 17 million ounces sold

That's nearly a 40% drop in sales for the past 4 months compared to the same time-period last year.

November 2011 was the turning point in physical silver sales. November is when silver sales fell off a cliff. December was mediocre. January was simply dealers stocking shelves with new year's coins. February was awful. March is mediocre.

The past four months combined are down 40% compared to the same time a year ago.
