If it was a stop limit, you may have the case where it reached the stop price (.625) but only once. Since it was a "stop limit" and not a "stop loss", your order basically became a limit sell order at .625. Since it never came back to this value, it was never sold. If you had a stop loss, then it would sell for any price below .625. So, probably your execution would be lower than this value, but it would have sold.

sometimes if it drops to fast the stop loss doesn't get executed. this dropped like a rock. Its not a guarantee that it will get executed it just may get executed.

It dropped so fast it went right thru your order. I imagine most people were using market orders and those will be filled first at whatever price is available to fill.

Should have set a stop order not a stop limit order, type order types into the etrade search bar. Learn what they all mean.

Hey Bud...learning order types is critical especially with STOP LIMIT orders. A stop limit order lists two prices and is an attempt to gain more control over the price at which your stop is filled. The first part of the order is written like a regular stop order. The second part of the order specifies a limit price. This indicates that once your stop is triggered, you do not wish to be filled beyond the limit price. STOP LIMIT ORDERS SHOULD USUALLY NOT BE USED WHEN TRYING TO EXIT A POSITION. If you do not give a limit price, then the stop price and the limit price are meant to be identical. Hope this accurately answers your question.
