Purely subjective opinion of course, however, we haven't minded the chocolate being unchilled (sitting in a backpack for a few hours outdoors it loses its chill), it's still good. Yes, surely better chilled but not bad otherwise.
Conversely, the vanilla tastes like vanilla bean ice cream which isn't exactly pleasant at ambient temp ... like ice cream, generally the colder the better.
Feedback I'm getting from parents of our high school aged athletes that love the stuff is that it's a bit pricey and they're too lazy to buy off Amazon. Hurrumph, go figure.
The athletic center suggested we put in a Phase III vending machine, however, the costs are still prohibitive here on the left coast.
