Sounds as though the HPNN float has been quietly locked down!

I had the same experience with a sub penny issues where they attempted to transfer my shares between accounts by matching trades which somehow caused the stock to run then I was told they could not complete the transfer because it was to risky for them and that i needed to sell the issue out of my old account and buy it in the new account taking the risk myself.

I only know that the transfer attempt somehow made the stock run because of a poster on the message board with in depth level 2 announced the MMs were attempting to execute a matched trade for the exact # of shares I was trying to transfer and laughed saying "this should be fun". Then it ran from the teens to over a half a cent when the order was pulled. That's when I was notified by my brokers they could not transfer that issue.

Apparently some advanced traders know how to take advantage with issues in such situations. That issue was depressed and thinly trading just as HPNN is now with little to no free trading shares moving in the float and obviously the company was not letting any loose @ that time either.

This is a good sign IMO and I would like to thank BottomFeeder for posting that intel.
