there may be an investigation, you never know. certainly the sec suspension was triggered by an investigation but you never know if they are over. nonetheless, it is not the governments' responsibility to "make you whole". that is your responsibility. if you so desire, you can always sue. otherwise, just kiss your money goodbye.
oh, and by the way. the sec can not launch criminal investigations. they have no power to do so. criminal investigations are the job of the justice department.
