If what Mojo said is correct regarding the the 3 highest PFS trials having no correlation to the PPHM trial then the weighted average for PFS for the remaining trials would be 4.9 months. Just thought I'd put that out there.
If you were to calculate confidence intervals for the PFS, I would predict that the 6.4 month reading would fall into that range.
I've just listed published trials that I found doing a brief search on PubMed. It's hardly exhaustive, and it is obviously not a replacement for a more formal meta-analysis. The point that I am trying to make is that reported median PFS values tend to vary quite a bit; I'm not trying to arrive at a measure for carbo-taxol's "true" PFS.
