YW git..I need to refresh myself on my own work with Gann theory...that was a long time ago...am working with these LWMAs now and have it really working well for me..especially on H4 charts.Adding Gann angles like I did back then might even enhance what I'm doing..Glad you brought it up

Heres a copy and paste of my post #15273 that you might find of interest on building a Gann angle chart...

GM rtn...If I have a stock that I have a serious interest in I look at it from every angle technically speaking..so in looking at other chart styles in my database I will also check this one that I call a WD Gann style chart. You will notice that the parameters are all based on Gann theory of time by degrees. That is not an easy thing to explain in a handful of words but I can try.... draw a horizontal line at area a stock is trading in...then draw a vertical line at point of breakout..you now have a 90 degree angle. If you approximately bisect it you will have a 45 degree angle..bisect again..a 22 degree angle...a 3rd bisect gives 11 degrees.the 11,22 and 45 degree angles are converted to
and used in my Gann chart as parameters for Moving Averages and other indicators.A 45 degree angle breakout is a powerful move...on retrace I expect support at the 22 and a bounce back to the 45 til run cools off then tests 22 again. To see this phenomina I draw a literal box on the chart with trendlines set at these angles.
In using 11,22 and 45 as MAs I expect early support and major price rise to favor the MA(11) for support..if it breaks that I expect MA(22) to hold then after a bearish cycle is beginning I anticipate the MA(45) to reverse it as final support and a new bullish cycle to be probable.
Will let you chew on all this RTN..,dont choke tho(LOL)
