I hear your point, but at the same time it's pretty obvious that a tiny company that is just bringing their first product to market can't be held to the same standards as established firms. I would think that most investors (yeah, I also use the term loosely lol) should see that.
If the issue with the pictures were just setting up an appointment with the studio, you'd be 100% right. But they can't photograph the machine until it exists! And since unanticipated glitches occurred at SMTC, there's not much they can do but wait. The issue isn't credibility or even incompetence, it's a simple lack of resources at this stage of development.
As you and I have both said, effective communications could make these kinds of things fade into the background. It's the silence that makes them into problems.
